Back from Tropical North Queensland!!!

We did SOooo many fun fun things while in Palm Cove! We hit the beach as soon as possible. It was only a short walk from the apartments that we stayed in. Speaking of, I'd like to give a HUGE set of thumbs up to The Palm Cove Tropic Apartments and the on-site managers Steve and Sandy!!

The first full day of the beach was really fun. There were small catamarans to rent. Mark and Russ were the first to take it out, they mastered it (ok, under VERY light winds!!) so the rest of us felt confident that it was safe to entrust our selves with them. We had intended on renting jet ski's but they were all booked by the time we were finished with the catamaran---so we left that to another day.

We also went Hot Air Ballooning, rode the Skyrail and Kuranda Railway, saw the Tjapukai (pronounced Ja-boo-guy) cultural show, raced go karts, and went out the Great Barrier Reef!!! Some snorkeled, some did scuba, some rode the semi-submersible, but we all had a GRAND time!
