Just Landlubbers this time

We were prevented from having a day on the Burns' boat due to a faulty tire on the trailer. So we made lemonade out of lemons and IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!

This is a beautiful little cove along the walking path from the parking spot to Rainbow Beach. Too rocky along the water's edge to set up for the day, but this is beautiful!

This is Rainbow Beach near Coolangatta looking south.

This is looking north toward Surfer's Paradise.

This is the product of a lot of hard work by the kids. Notice the boogey board wave protection, the tunnel in the base of the drippy sand decorated mountain!

So, our day on the boat with the Burns' family will be rescheduled and we'll try another time.
