Long time no hear, eh?
I've been prodded by my very favorite Brisbanite buddies to update our blog! God, it's wonderful to be wanted! HA HA HA HA
So since the last I blogged (pre-Thanksgiving) (which was wonderful by the way, spent with 4 other American families and 2 Aussie families, good food, good fun!!) here's what we've been up to (a lot now that I take inventory)
in chronological order:
1.) Decision made to extend our stay in Australia to the end of November. This will allow Mark more time to work on the scramjet project and to allow the girls to finish the school year here.
2.) The girls and I tagged along with Mark back to the States for a business trip and combined home visit. We were there for a month! Enjoyed family, friends and freezing temps!! (-12c!! and snow!)
3.) Emily turned 17!! Woweee!!! how can that be???? What a beautiful young woman she's becoming.
4.) Returned to Australia (after surviving some strong turbulence due to storms leaving the west coast) to find that a massive amount of rain had been falling around the state (too bad it didn't fill up our dams----the wet's not over yet!!)
5.) Attended THE BEST DA** 50 VS 21 PARTY EVER!!!
Now just returning to our normalcy around here. Life is good!
Hugs to all our Aussie and American buddies!!
